Richard is a leadership development consultant and executive coach who gets individuals and organisations from A to B.
Richard spent 16 years in the Royal Air Force as a Chinook helicopter navigator during which time he was selected, among other missions, to lead the first operational Chinooks into Afghanistan following 9/11. He was also responsible for the team who trained and equipped the flight commanders commissioning c.600 new officers into the Royal Air Force every year.
Richard’s military pedigree gives him credible insight into the importance of delivery under intense operational pressures. For more than 15 years Richard has been responsible for consulting on and delivering leadership solutions across both the public and private sectors.
He is adept at working with Board members and Senior Executives at a 1:1 level, with their teams and facilitating corporate gatherings of up to several hundred delegates. His solutions and interventions have resulted in £Ms of savings, increased performance levels and enhanced well-being and morale.
Richard is an Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). He has a Masters in Research in Leaderships Studies (Exeter) and an MBA (Open).
Recognised for his masterful facilitation skills Richard is a practitioner in Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI), Insights Discovery, Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and FIRO Element B.
