Give us a brief description of your background

I joined UKAS in April 2024 as an External Affairs Advisor, after graduating from university with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology and master’s degree in Political Sociology.

As External Affairs Advisor, my role involves gathering political and industry intelligence, engaging with government and other stakeholders, and working with our national quality infrastructure partners to deliver confidence in the market.

Who/what inspires you?

I am inspired by social justice and those who work tirelessly to challenge inequality and advocate for a fairer future.

What does the word leadership make you think of?

To me, leadership is about empowering others to achieve common goals and create meaningful change.

How do you feel about taking part in the Future Leaders programme?

I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to be take part in the Future Leaders programme.

What do you think are the keys to a sustainable future?

Education and collaboration. It is important to address disparities in access to education to better equip people with the knowledge and skills required to work collaboratively towards the common goal of creating a sustainable future.
