Give us a brief description of your background

I have a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science and Anthropology and a postgraduate certificate in Criminal Investigation. Although my work experience is merely based around Client Service/Engagement, with my current role being a Technical Projects Coordinator within the British Board of Agreement. I have been in this role since January 2022 and my responsibility is to coordinate a large range of projects and ensure “on time in full delivery”.

In my spare time I enjoy taking my two young children on days out.

Who/what inspires you?

My mum is probably my biggest inspiration. Growing up I always remember her working hard and exceeding expectations which meant she was always highly respected within the workplace. I am inspired by the respect and successes that can be achieved as a result of going above and beyond for people and the encouragement this gives others to do the same.

What does the word leadership make you think of?

Empowerment. Leadership is guiding people based on how you would want to be guided. I strongly believe that a positive mind helps people grow.

How do you feel about taking part in the Future Leaders programme?

I am grateful to be selected by my employer to be a part of this programme, it has boosted my confidence and allowed me to see that I am noticed for putting my all into my work. I am excited to be a part of the Future Leaders programme, I like being challenged and enjoy broadening my experience, so this is a great opportunity.

What do you think are the keys to a sustainable future?

Education is an important key to a sustainable future, educating minds at an early age has a great impact. People need to be committed to making the change and if they are educated on the impact this will have then I believe this is enough to drive the change.
