Give us a brief description of your background

Inspired to make a difference, I set on a journey to move from a service sector job for fossil-fuel based transport sector in India to currently working as a sustainability consultant in built environment in the UK. With my undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering, I came to Manchester about 3.5 years ago and studied Renewable Energy and Clean Technology at the University of Manchester. I am passionate about my faith and care for creation and aim to drive change by being an impactful future leader.

Creator and Creation.

What does the word leadership make you think of?

A problem-solver – who creates an atmosphere for people to work passionately towards a common goal and drive them towards it by a change of mindset.

How do you feel about taking part in the Future Leaders programme?

I am very grateful to be a part of this programme and excited to implement everything I learn and develop in the long run.

What do you think are the keys to a sustainable future?

Every one and every action matters and counts. I believe the key to a sustainable future is everyone contributing to make a step change in patterns of consumption.
