Give us a brief description of your background
I’m a born and raised Londoner with a Vietnamese mother and German father. Both parents are musicians so as a rebellion I studied for an MSc in Natural Sciences. I work as a Data Skills and Literacy Advisor at the Environment Agency, and as team leader and sustainability manager for the Odyssey Festival Orchestra.
Who/what inspires you?
People who continue to pursue peace, joy, and kindness amidst the multiple global crises we’re facing.
What does the word leadership make you think of?
Among many other things: commitment, consistency, vulnerability, transparency, education, and collaboration.
How do you feel about taking part in the Future Leaders programme?
Humbled and nervous – ready to dive into an incredible opportunity for personal and professional growth with others driving for positive change.
What do you think are the keys to a sustainable future?
A radically honest and holistic commitment from everyone to understand ourselves and personal histories better in order to learn from past mistakes and be relentless in striving for a better future.
